Jan has worked in the field of hospice care both as a nurse and as a chaplain, for over 30 years. She currently teaches Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction, meditation retreats and workshops in a variety of clinical and corporate settings in the San Francisco Bay Area as well as internationally. As a co-owner of Awareness and Relaxation Training, she hopes to support others in cultivating a practice of mindfulness that can be integrated into one’s daily life to support health and well-being both at work and at home.
